High-Spec Toilet Pod Refurbishment

As one of London’s most iconic commercial towers, One Canada Square demanded a premium standard of finish for its internal refurbishment programme. Commercial Stone was appointed to carry out the complete refurbishment of washroom facilities across 10 floors—delivering a full-service package from shell and core to final commissioning.

Each floor featured 13 male and female cubicles along with a dedicated accessible WC, all designed and fitted with modern, energy-efficient systems. The specification included LED PIR sensor-controlled lighting, water-saving fixtures, and a high-end material palette to reflect the building’s status within Canary Wharf.

Commercial Stone installed Calacatta marble feature wall cladding, bespoke veneered cubicles with soft-close hinges and emergency lift-off functionality, and Corian countertops. Custom-designed mirror cabinets were fabricated to house integrated sanitary taps and hand dryers—providing a sleek, hygienic solution for high-traffic usage. All other sanitaryware, including accessible furnishings, was supplied and installed as part of a coordinated M&E and interior package.
